First Time Medical Tourism Seoul Korea Guide | Rappoel Complete Guide

First Timer Guide · Full Chinese Service · Step by Step

Visiting Korea for the first time for aesthetic treatments? You probably have many questions: Which clinic? How to book? What if there’s a language barrier? What about aftercare? This guide walks you through the entire process, using Rappoel Dermatology as an example.

Step 1: Before You Go — Online Consultation

You don’t need to wait until you land in Korea to start. Contact Rappoel via WeChat (rappoelkr) or LINE (rappoelkr) before your trip. Describe your needs in Chinese, send bare-face photos for the director’s preliminary assessment. You’ll receive recommendations before you even pack your bags.

Step 2: Book Your Appointment

Once you decide to visit, book a specific time via WeChat or LINE. We recommend booking at least 1–2 weeks in advance, especially for weekend slots. Share your itinerary including your return flight so the clinic can schedule optimally.

Step 3: In-Clinic Consultation

The director conducts a thorough one-on-one consultation: analyzing your facial structure, bone features, and skin condition, then designing a personalized treatment plan based on your goals. The entire consultation is in Chinese.

Step 4: Treatment

Most injection treatments (fillers, botox, skin boosters) use topical anesthetic for minimal discomfort. Laser and lifting treatments may require additional anesthesia. All procedures are performed personally by the director.

Step 5: Aftercare

After treatment, the director provides detailed Chinese-language aftercare instructions: when to wear makeup, when to exercise, when it’s safe to fly. After returning home, you can continue to follow up via WeChat or LINE.
